I want to share a moment in time with you and capture it forever. This is my gift to you!

My passion rests in the arms of connection, between people, with self, and within the natural world.

A bit about me.

Hi. I’m Zoe.

I consider myself Tasmanian, even though I was born and guided by Melbourne spaces until the beginning of my teenage years. Like so many I know I am part of this island and it is embedded in my soul.

Living in the slopes of the Channel, south of Hobart, lutruwita, with my partner and two children, I'm captivated by wilderness and its call.

My true passion lies in photographing moments that capture feelings of magic. Those moments that give me goosebumps, bring me to tears and laughter.

Things you might not know about me yet…

I am a big tea drinker!

I have a glorious collection of earrings, mostly made by local artists.

My middle name is Rose, hence Zoe Rose Photos.

The most common thing people say about me is that I am calm.

I love meeting new people!

  • Pregnancy. Babies. Children. Families. Couples.

Capturing any combination of babies, children, and family groups, including couples and fur babies, is close to my heart because I’m a mother of two kids (6 and 9), who I’ve adored photographing over the years. Like many of us with children in our lives we may find ourselves behind the camera rather than actually in the photos. I love to capture families together. If you are more comfortable behind the camera I’d love to work with you in creating a safe space that allows you to be part of the images. I’m also really in love with focusing in on different combinations of family members and capturing their special connections. I can come to a home of your choice or we can be outside in the natural world.

  • Her Wilderness & The Art of Darkness Experience.

Her Wilderness and the Art of Darkness experience is a vision I have been dreaming about and creating for a few years now and it has been an absolute honour to bring it into reality. I am offering you the opportunity to venture into the Tasmanian wilderness with me for a special experience of grounding into the earth and rising to be seen. We start with a tea ceremony and arriving meditation. This is a time for you to connect your inner world with the wilderness around you and within you. It’s your choice to be photographed with or without clothing (or a combination) in a location of your choice. The Art of Darkness experience is a deluxe version of this with a set of additional extras - it’s a divine treat!
